Today we ticked off another project in the cookhouse… a solid 1.5 x 3.2 metre table made from recycled Jarrah and Yellow Box.
This timber is over 55 years old and has been sitting patiently for the last four years, waiting for the right project. It travelled down from up north with us and in a past life was part of old power poles — now it’s been given a new story.
We reckon it’ll seat around 16 people comfortably.
Now it’s just waiting for you — to share a meal, spin a yarn, talk a bit of bull, and probably enjoy a drink or two more than planned. No worries though, we’ve got plenty of beds so there’s no need to drive anywhere.
