I bought this camp in April 2014. We have traveled down from North Waikato to begin our new life in Western Southland with our two dogs Gin and Jacko.
When we took over the camp it had been let go and has needed alot of TLC and elbow grease to bring it up to scratch.
We have been really busy since we arrived achieving lots of goals.
Our first step was to get a fireplace installed and Patrick has since been busy building a woodshed and chopping firewood.
We have replaced the hot water cylinders with gas so now there is a great supply of hot water with fantastic water pressure.
We have replaced some beds in the cabins and have been scrubbed, vacuumed, replaced bedding and I am in the process of putting up new curtains.
We had a garage sale and got rid of all the old junk around the place. The cookhouse now has nice plates, cups, cutlery etc.
Today I began painting and papering in there and Patrick is revamping the fireplace again.
